The Brewery Arts Center is a historic venue that offers entertainment, arts education, and enrichment for those of all backgrounds and ages. The theater dates back to 1874 and was built by producer of Tahoe Beer, Carson Brewing Company.
It is rumored that the building is haunted by James P. Maar, a maintenance worker who appears as polite. He is spotted wearing a brown-checkered suit with a yellow tie. Maar's voice has also been heard offering help to employees and reminding them to turn off the lights and lock the doors. Visitors have also reported feeling his presence.
